MeetToMatch is looking for an ambitious student with a knack for writing, who knows how to engage audiences, and to communicate with customers from all over the world. They’ll also need to know their way around various social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Discord and possibly TikTok.
As you will be responsible for writing communication and provide service to our customers, your English should be on a professional level.
You will work within a small and dedicated team. As a team, we work together to make each event a success, and your input and contribution is valuable to us.
We work in an office in Utrecht, within the Dutch Game Garden. Our office is easily accessible with public transport and by bike. This internship is not remote, but may involve working from home occasionally once you know the ropes.
Activities:
- Event related communication and administrative activities.
- Daily/weekly social media postings on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn
- Respond to customer questions over email and Live Chat
- Create and send newsletters in Mailchimp
- Work on bigger writing tasks, such as a Wikipedia page, flyers or instruction sheets.
- Update text and pages on our website
- Contribute to improvements in our service concepts and product development of our online meeting platform
- And help deliver events where the participants and the organizers have a great time with nothing to worry about!

Dreaming about working at a young tech start-up as a programmer/ IT specialist? Passionate to work with international events specialized in the games industry? MeetToMatch is looking for a enthusiastic, recently graduated IT expert for web and app development. This is a unique chance to work in a growing, dedicated team, where your efforts are crucial for our company’s success.
This job may involve occasional international travel to conference and/or expo’s, so you can see on-site how you can make your work even more relevant. Currently, because of the pandemic, these events are all online. We work in a fun office in Utrecht, together with the Dutch Game Garden. Our office is easily accessible with public transport. But as long as the pandemic continues, you will work partly from home as well.
You will be working on the expansion of the MeetToMatch platform. There is an extensive backlog of new desired functionality, and depending on your skill set and personal ambition we will select the best parts for you to work on. Your work will be used by thousands of people in the games and entertainment industry. Due to the short development cycles you will experience the results of your work immediately!
Your profile:
- HBO/WO education level, just graduated or a starting professional
